Dr. Christopher Church: This is our vet that delivered Chloe's puppies! August 4th, 2006 at approx. 4PM.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who helped me so much with this litter. First of all Fran, without you this beautiful litter would not have happened. Thanks for sharing your years of knowledge and experience. It was tremendously appreciated. Also, my new friend Josie, you were there for me through alot of the rough times. I love you dearly. And last but certainly not least, Helen and Jon, you two helped me get through the delivery of these babies with your calm advice and caring. You all mean the world to me!! Sorry I am late on the "Thanks" but now that it has calmed down around here I wanted to make sure I got it done! Thank all of you so very much!!
And...let's not forget Indi. You are a beautiful boy and you and my Chloe' made a gorgeous litter. Thank You Indi! Hugs and Kisses from the Hopkins.
Mum makes the most comfy spot to take a nap. More snuggle time!
After their bellies are full they scatter to their own spot to nap.
This little guy is High Plains Chieftan
Full bellies...now it's naptime!
Can you tell that Nimue is Daddy's girl!!
Daddy and Nimue!!!
This is Nimue twin brother...we call him Rowan.
He is my baby boy!
Nimue just loves her awesome Mommy!!
We have a recount on our innies and outies. After the umbilical cords fell off we realized that we have 7 males and 5 females.....just wanted to clear that up!
The only female that is not available is the solid wheaton on the right side of the picture....she is my husband's Nimue!!!
Look Butchie, Mum is trying to steal your girl from you!
Snuggle time with Mum
Our human Mum taking her turn at helping our Wolfie Mum feed our hungry little bellies!
OOPS! Busted napping with the babies!
See, like this....look at Mum!
The Puppies are two weeks old now!!! Their eyes are starting to open and within the last 4 days they have all discovered that they have 4 legs instead of two.

Since Mum is a great Mum, and keeps everything extra clean Papa takes us upstairs to play while Mum changes our bedding.
....No Worries.....it is only us in the house with Mum and Dad. They make sure we are very protected on our little outtings from the whelping pen.
They wouldn't want anyone stepping on our wee little bodies. So the extra precautions are taken!
I just adore this pic of Mum and pup!
Nimue and Daddy!!
The puppies at 2 and a half weeks of age!
High Plains Chieftan & Chloe'
Ever since Cuchulainn was 8 weeks old, Chloe' has thought he was her baby, and he thinks she is his Mum! So, of course, he feels that the babies are his responsibility also!! He LOVES the babies. It's the most amazing thing we have ever seen. He goes to the whelping pen faster than Chloe' does when they cry!!
Oh Otto...you are a MESS!
Here is Otto giving his famous demonstration of how he sings the "blues".
We call this little boy Otto the Otter because he sleeps like an otter on his back with his little paws folded down.
The puppies headed down the hallway to the kitchen to eat dinner!!

Playtime after eating!
I have discussed with Fran the longevity of her Wolfies, her average is 8 years but has had a few live to 10 years. On Chloe's end of it, her great grandfather lived to be 9 years old and her great-grandmother was 14 years old. So some great longevity has been bred into these pups. I cannot guarantee that a Wolfie from this litter will live 10 to 14 years, but I can guarantee that you will receive a healthy pup, that has been tested for the usual genetic problems.
